Photography
In life, we all need things that provide us with the opportunity to unwind, be creative, and have fun. I'll admit that for every great photo I've taken, there are many, many others that aren't so great. The thrill is in learning to view a scene, architecture, or a subject in a unique light. Photography forces you to view your surroundings in a different and more simplistic way then we otherwise might. It forces you to take notice of the specifics of that which you aim to photograph. In this way, photography offers me the opportunity to slow down and open my eyes to surroundings that we all too often see in a passing glance.
