Helen Carr Klepac, EdS, GCDF

With more than 30 years of experience in higher education, leadership, human resource development, and career counseling and management, Helen brings a wealth of knowledge to her work as a consultant with Stowell and Associates.
A passionate advocate for life-long learning, talent development, career management, and organizational efficiency, Helen works both one-on-one with individual clients and collaboratively with executives, managers, and employees within organizations. She approaches consulting from a humanistic perspective and works closely with her clients to ensure that both process and end results are representative of an individual’s philosophy or an organization’s culture.
In addition to her work with Stowell and Associates, Helen serves as Executive Director of Admissions and Student Services for Health Science Programs at the George Washington University’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences. There, she manages a team of professionals responsible for meeting admissions projections and providing high-level customer service to students from the time of admission through to graduation and beyond.
Helen has held a variety of leadership positions during her career including Director of Law School Records, Associate Registrar, Director of Administration for a Health Policy Research Center, and a Program Coordinator for a National Health Policy Forum. Helen earned her Education Specialist degree in Counseling, Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration, and Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA and the Global Career Development Facilitator designation from the Center for Credentialing in Education.
